Making A Difference in Our Lives Every Day

“Make A Difference Day” is held on the fourth Saturday every October but you don’t have to wait for a special day to make a difference. In the wake of the recent wildfires in Napa and Sonoma counties, there have been countless opportunities to make a difference by assisting those in need and giving back to the community. When news of the fires first broke, Carlton Senior Living contacted disaster relief services and local hospitals to offer shelter and services to seniors who had been displaced by the fires. At Carlton Senior Living, we not only try to provide new and exciting experiences for our residents, but we also try to provide outlets in which residents can experience the same lifestyle they had before joining our Carlton family. One example of this is our Date Night. Our driver uses personal invitations, flowers, balloons and a reservation at a preferred restaurant to make a memorable night. Octaband - Carlton Senior Living Sacramento

The residents of the Carlton Senior Living Sacremento Enhanced Building really enjoyed trying to keep the ball in the center while using the Octaband. Octaband is a great arm exercise and helps train hand eye coordination. This is a fun and new spring activity and next month we will use our parachute to add more color and options with the ball.
