Associates on the Move – Diane Duarte

Diane started working for Carlton Senior Living Pleasant Hill as an on-call housekeeper over 19 years ago. She transitioned from having her own housekeeping business to working for Carlton Senior Living and has never looked back. While the Carlton Senior Living Downtown Pleasant community was under construction Tim MacDonald requested that she fill the position of Housekeeping Manager and she gladly accepted. At one point in 2009 three generations of Diane’s family worked for Carlton.

Diane proudly shares that she comes to work for the residents and finds it very rewarding. She enjoys spending quality time with the residents, exploring their interests and getting to know them on a personal level. She loves to listening to the resident’s stories and to joke around with them in general. Just being a part of the resident’s lives brings Diane happiness and joy.

She appreciates her amazing housekeeping team and is proud of how they work so well together.

Diane goes above and beyond in decorating the Downtown Pleasant Hill Community for all occasions. She especially likes coming up with fun themes of each occasion and puts her heart into turning her creative visions into reality with the help of her daughter, Crissy.
